Mason Jar Salad Recipe #1

Be sure to read my blog post from 10/29, “Mason Jar Salad Basics,” to learn about the steps for making a simple Mason Jar Salad.

This is what’s in my jar this week:

Layer 1 — Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a dash of black pepper.

Layer 2 — Tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, and carrots.

Layer 3 — Green beans and celery.

Layer 4 — Quinoa.

Layer 5 — Chicken and dill cheddar cheese.

Layer 6 — Red cabbage, kale, and spinach.

I recommend preparing your salads on Sundays so that you have a healthy lunch to carry to work each day of the week.
